Louis Cennamo
March 5, 1946. Renaissance featured Louis Cennamo as their original bassist from 1969 to 1970, where he utilized his electric upright bass to blend folk and classical influences. After departing, he joined the hard rock band Armageddon and the blues-rock group Steamhammer.
In 1977, Louis Cennamo reunited with several former collaborators to form the progressive act Illusion, playing bass guitar until 1979. His precise, melodic style provided the rhythmic backbone for their atmospheric studio recordings.
