Roger Glover

Roger Glover joined Deep Purple in 1969, replacing founding bassist Nick Simper as the band entered its most successful period. Playing bass guitar while also becoming one of the group's principal songwriters and producers, he appeared on landmark albums including Deep Purple in Rock, Fireball, Machine Head, Who Do We Think We Are, Perfect Strangers, and several later releases following his return in 1984.
After leaving Deep Purple in 1973, Glover produced albums for artists including Nazareth before beginning a solo career with The Butterfly Ball and the Grasshopper's Feast. He also joined Rainbow in 1979, remaining with the band until its breakup in 1984, when he reunited with Deep Purple. Glover remained with the group until retiring from touring in 2024 and continues to be associated with the band's legacy.

Leo Lyons
November 30, 1943
Leo Lyons co-founded Ten Years After in 1966 and remained the band's bass guitarist throughout its original recording career. His solid playing helped drive the group's blend of blues, rock, and jazz influences as they gained international attention with appearances at the Woodstock Festival and the Isle of Wight Festival and released albums including Ssssh, Cricklewood Green, Watt, and A Space in Time.
After Ten Years After disbanded in 1975, Lyons worked as a record producer before rejoining later versions of the band for tours and new recordings. He also formed Hundred Seventy Split with guitarist Joe Gooch, continuing to perform blues-based rock. Lyons remains active in music.
