Jim Clench

April Wine recruited bassist and lead vocalist Jim Clench in 1970, where he contributed to several albums including Stand Back and The Whole Worlds Goin Crazy. His distinctive voice was featured on the hit Oowatanite before he departed the group in 1975.
The rock scene saw him join Bachman-Turner Overdrive in 1977 as a replacement for C.F. Turner. He performed on the albums Street Action and Rock n Roll Nights during his tenure which lasted until 1979. He also served as a session player on Bryan Adams self-titled debut in 1980.
