December 6, 1950

Jeff Grob joined Looking Glass in 1970, completing the lineup that recorded the band's best-known material. Playing drums, he provided the rhythmic foundation for the group's blend of pop, rock, and soft rock on recordings including Looking Glass, which featured the chart-topping hit "Brandy (You're a Fine Girl)."

After Looking Glass disbanded in the mid-1970s, Grob recorded under the name Joe Dube as a member of Starz, appearing on several of the band's albums before stepping away from the national spotlight. He has since participated in interviews and projects celebrating Looking Glass and its music.
